How to identify the part you need

• Nameplate firstThe model and serial number are on a metal or printed plate on the machine body. A photo of it tells us the exact variant you have.
• Read the old partContact tips are marked with the wire size and thread (e.g. 1.2 mm, M8); plasma nozzles and electrodes carry a part code and the amperage; collets the electrode size. Send that marking, or a photo, and the torch model; if the marking has worn off, measure with a vernier.
• Torch partsTell us the torch model and length (3 m or 4 m) and whether it is air or water cooled. Liners also need the wire size; plasma parts need the torch model and the amperage.
• Cables and clampsGive the length and the current rating of the machine; we match the cable size.
• Electrical partsFor PCBs, fans, switches and controls, send the machine serial number, a photo of the board marking and revision, and the fault description, so we send the right board or suggest a service visit.
• Machine down?Write “urgent” in the note. Common consumables for current models are normally in stock.
• Not sure the part is the problem?Lamps, fault codes and the five-minute checks for your machine are on the fix-it-yourself pages; a weld or cut that looks wrong is usually settings, not a part: see the troubleshooting guide.
