Profile Cutting Machine WING1800P – Gas 4–150 mm + Plasma Torch Head

WING1800P
Portable profile cutting machine · gas + plasma

Trace the template once. Cut the same part all shift.

The CRUXWELD WING1800P is a portable profile cutting machine. A magnetic tracing roller follows your steel template and the torch repeats that path on the plate. Cut 4–150 mm plate with oxy-fuel, use the included plasma torch head for stainless steel, aluminium and thin sheet up to 35 mm, and run it all from a single-phase 220 V socket.

Overview

Overview

A profile cutting machine for the parts you cut again and again

A profile cutting machine takes the guesswork out of freehand torch work. Flanges, gussets, base plates, brackets and blanks come off the WING1800P the same shape and size every time, because a motor moves the torch and a steel template guides it.

How it works

From template to finished part in four steps

  1. Make the template

Cut a steel template of the part. Up to a 700 mm circle, it goes on the template holder; larger shapes, up to 1800 mm, on the centre shaft.

  2. Set up on the plate

Level the base with the four foot screws, fit the balance bar, and bring the magnetic roller onto the template edge.

  3. Set height and speed

Set torch height on the rack and pinion, then turn the speed knob to suit the plate thickness.

  4. Cut, then repeat

Light up, switch FWD or REV, and the torch follows the template. Lift, move to the next blank and run again.

Try the controls

One switch and one knob run the whole machine. Tap to see what they do.

FWD: the roller tracks the template one way round. OFF: the drive stops and the torch holds its place. REV: the same template, traced the other way round. Slow, towards 50 mm/min, for thick plate.Medium speed, set to suit the plate.Fast, up to 750 mm/min, for thin plate.

Why fabricators choose it

What changes on your shop floor

No more wavy edges

The torch moves at a set speed along a fixed path, so straight lines stay straight and circles stay round, within 1.5 mm.

Less grinding before welding

A steady machine cut typically needs far less dressing than a freehand cut, so parts move to fit-up sooner.

One machine for plate and sheet

Gas for thick mild steel, plasma for stainless steel, aluminium and thin sheet, on the same arm and the same templates.

Repeat orders, same part

Keep the template and the next batch comes out like the last one. A new operator gets the same result on day one.

Key features

Built for steady, repeatable profile cutting

WING1800P profile cutting machine features: rear counterweight, adjustable template holder, four-point base levelling, gas flow control, adjustable cutting torch, control panel

Template holder and centre shaft

Templates within a 30–700 mm circle sit on the adjustable template holder; shapes from 700 to 1800 mm mount on the centre shaft.

Magnetic tracing roller

A Ø10 mm magnetic roller holds the steel template edge and tracks it clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Stepless speed control

SCR control and a rotary knob set any speed from 50 to 750 mm/min; a FWD–OFF–REV toggle starts, stops and reverses.

Steady DC drive

A DC 110 V, 24 W motor holds the set speed, so the cut stays even from the first corner to the last.

Rack-and-pinion torch height

The cutter moves vertically on a rack and pinion — on the gas torch and on the plasma torch head.

Pure-copper gas distributor

Copper distributor with three valves for preheat and cutting oxygen, and hoses routed neatly along the arm.

Four levelling feet

Four adjustable foot screws keep the base level and steady on an uneven floor or plate.

Balance bar

A rear counterweight on the balance bar keeps the long arm balanced for smooth tracing.

Question & Answers

FAQ

Profile cutting machine: questions buyers ask

What is a profile cutting machine used for?
A profile cutting machine cuts the same shape again and again from steel plate. A tracing roller follows a template and the torch repeats that path, so flanges, gussets, base plates, brackets and blanks all come out the same size.
What plate thickness can the WING1800P cut?
With oxy-fuel it cuts 4 to 150 mm plate. With the included plasma torch head it cuts from very thin sheet up to 35 mm, depending on the plasma cutter you connect.
Which plasma cutter works with the plasma torch head?
The plasma torch head fits the CRUXWELD FINELINE 100IC, FINELINE 120 and FINELINE 160. The torch head is supplied with the machine; the plasma cutter is a separate machine.
Can it cut stainless steel and aluminium?
Yes, with the included plasma torch head and a CRUXWELD FINELINE plasma cutter. Oxy-fuel cuts only mild (carbon) steel, so stainless steel, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals are cut with plasma.
Can I use LPG instead of acetylene?
Yes. The cutting torch is an injector type that works with acetylene or LPG, and cutting nozzles for both are supplied.
What power supply does it need?
AC 220 V plus or minus 10 percent, single phase, 50/60 Hz. It runs from a normal workshop socket; no three-phase supply is needed.
What is the biggest shape or circle it can cut?
Circles from 20 to 1800 mm diameter and straight lines up to 1650 mm. Templates within a 700 mm circle go on the template holder; larger shapes up to 1800 mm mount on the centre shaft.
How accurate is the cut?
Cutting accuracy is within 1.5 mm. The finished part follows the template, so an accurate template gives an accurate part.
WING1800P or CIRCO circle cutting machine: which one do I need?
Choose the WING1800P when you cut many different shapes from templates. Choose the CIRCO circle cutting machine if you only cut circles and need bevel cutting.
What is the price and delivery time?
Send your plate thickness, part size and city on WhatsApp at +91 88008 82983. Our team replies with the price and delivery time.
