The CRUXWELD TubeSeal H89 is a portable tube to tubesheet welding machine. Its head clamps inside the tube, a stepper motor turns the MIG/MAG torch round the tube end through the angle you set on the touch screen, and the torch returns to its start point — ready for the next tube.

TUBESEAL H89

One Tube at a Time — Every Tube the Same

A heat exchanger or boiler tubesheet can carry hundreds of tube-to-tubesheet joints, and every one has to seal. Welded by hand, the welder walks the torch round each tube end, and the result changes with fatigue, access and torch angle. The TubeSeal H89 takes the hand out of the circle.

The head locks inside the tube on an expanding tensioning block, the torch is set once on its X-Y slide and angle fixture, and a stepper motor carries it round the joint at the speed and through the angle set on the controller. Pause, resume, stop and return to zero are one touch away.

Seven Parts That Hold the Torch on the Circle

TubeSeal H89 tube to tubesheet welding head parts: stepper motor, locking nut, positioning block, spring block, tightening screws, fine adjustment block, welding fixture

Welding head, labelled
1

Stepper motor
Drives the torch round the tube end.
2

Locking nut
Turn right to expand the tensioning block and clamp; turn left to release.
3

Positioning block
Seats on the tubesheet face, so the head sits at the same depth in every tube.
4

Tensioning (spring) block
Expands inside the tube; choose the block that covers the measured ID, 28–76 mm.
5

Tightening screws
Secure the tensioning block to the shaft.
6

Fine adjustment block
X ±60 mm and Y ±60 mm to place the torch on the joint.
7

Welding fixture
Holds the torch; angle adjustable ±90°.

Question & Answers

Screen 09 ▸ FAQ

TUBESEAL H89

Tube to Tubesheet Welding Machine — FAQs

What is the TubeSeal H89 tube to tubesheet welding machine?
A portable automatic machine that clamps inside a tube and turns a MIG/MAG torch round the tube end, so every tube-to-tubesheet joint on a boiler or heat exchanger is welded with the same path, speed and angle.
What tube sizes does it fit?
Tubes with an inner diameter of 28–76 mm. The head clamps on an internal expanding tensioning block; you fit the block whose range covers the measured tube ID.
Which welding process does it use?
CO2 gas-shielded MIG/MAG welding. It connects to your MIG/MAG power source and wire feeder; current, voltage and wire feed are set on the power source to suit your qualified procedure.
How is the torch set on the joint?
With a fine adjustment block of X ±60 mm and Y ±60 mm and a welding fixture that sets the torch angle through ±90°. A positioning block on the tubesheet face keeps the head at the same depth in every tube.
Can I set how far it turns?
Yes. The rotation angle is set freely on the touch screen — for example 180° for half a turn, 360° for one turn or 720° for two. At the end of the weld the torch returns to its zero point.
What controls does it have?
Start, Pause (press again to finish the rest of the seam), Stop, Emergency stop and Single direction on the Run screen; Forward, Reverse, Set zero point and Return to zero on the Manual screen; rotation angle and speeds on the Parameter screen.
Which joints and tubesheets can it weld?
Flat corner welds where the tube stands proud of the tubesheet, and butt welds with the tube aligned to the face — on boiler, heat-exchanger, tube-box and air pre-heater tubesheets.
How do I get the TubeSeal H89 price and delivery time?
Request a quote on this page or message +91 88008 82983 on WhatsApp with your tube ID, tube count and joint type. You will receive a GST quotation with delivery time, usually the same working day.
Send your tube ID, tube count and joint — we will suggest the set-up and quote today.
