The CRUXWELD Dynex 5M is a trackless welding carriage with a built-in torch oscillator. Four-wheel drive and magnetic stability carry the torch along a fillet or seam at 150–2000 mm/min while it weaves in one of five patterns — and an inductive switch stops it at the end of the weld.

A Trackless Welding Carriage for Long Fillets and Seams
Hand-held MIG on a long fillet changes with the welder: travel speed drifts, the weave widens, the bead looks different at each end. A rail-mounted tractor fixes that but adds track to lay and move for every joint. The Dynex 5M trackless welding carriage sits between the two — place it on the plate, clamp your torch and let it drive.
The carriage holds the torch at a constant angle and speed and swings it with a brushed oscillating motor. Swing speed, swing angle, pause time at each side and centre deviation are set on the digital controller, so the bead size and shape come out the same on every run and every shift.
No rails
Runs directly on the workpiece; set-up is placing the carriage.
Four-wheel drive
Steady travel from 150 to 2000 mm/min.
Built-in oscillation
Swing ±15°, precision ±0.1 mm.
Auto-stop
Inductive switch ends travel at the weld end.

No Rail to Lay: One Run, Start to Auto-Stop
Watch one run on a fillet joint. The trackless welding carriage sits straight on the plate, four-wheel drive carries the torch along the joint while the oscillator weaves the bead, and the inductive switch stops it at the end of the weld.
1
Place it on the plateNo rail or track to lay. The controller detaches and sits where the operator can see it.
2
Weave along the jointFour-wheel drive carries the torch at 150–2000 mm/min while it weaves.
3
Auto-stop at the endAn inductive switch stops the carriage at the end of the weld.
3Selectable weld patterns
Five Weave Patterns, One Mode Button
Press the Welding mode button on the controller to pick a pattern — an LED shows which one is active. Each card below lays its bead the way the carriage does.
1Straight
No weave — a straight run down the joint.
2Trapezoid
Swings across and holds at each side for a flat-topped weave.
3Triangle
A continuous zig-zag from side to side.
4Square
Moves quickly to each side and holds, for a square-edged weave.
5Fast zig-zag
Short, quick swings for a tight, dense weave.

Detachable controller with digital displays.
The controller detaches from the carriage, so the operator can set and watch the weld from a comfortable position.
1
Walking (travel) speed
Sets carriage speed from 150 to 2000 mm/min, shown on the display.
2
Swing speed and swing angle
Controls how fast and how wide the torch oscillates.
3
Left and right stop time
Pause at each edge of the weave, 0–2.5 s.
4
Tune in (deviation)
Shifts the weave centre to one side of the joint.
5
Welding mode
Push button picks one of five weave patterns; an LED shows the active one.
6
Arc switch
End the arc at the weld end, run with no arc termination, or Non welding — the carriage travels with the arc off for setting up.
7
Walking direction
Sets the direction of travel.
8
Start / Stop
Starts and stops the carriage; inductive switch stops it automatically at the weld end.
5Why fabricators choose it
What Changes on the Shop Floor
01
Same bead, every operator
Speed, swing and pause are set numbers, not hand feel.
02
No track to lay
Place the carriage and weld — quicker set-up between joints.
03
Less rework
Steady travel and weave mean fewer defects and less material waste.
04
Less fatigue
The welder supervises the run instead of holding the torch for metres.
05
Works with your MIG set
Clamps torches from 16 to 50 mm diameter.
06
Built for the shop
IP54 dust and water resistance; 17 W carriage drive.

Specifications are subject to improvement without notice; the quotation and test certificate supplied with the machine are the governing documents. Warranty terms are stated on the quotation / invoice.
A motorised carriage that carries the welding torch along the joint without a rail or track. The Dynex 5M trackless welding carriage drives on the workpiece with four-wheel drive and oscillates the torch for a consistent weave.
Q.Which weave patterns can the Dynex 5M run?
Five: straight, trapezoid, triangle, square and fast zig-zag. Swing speed, swing angle (±15°), left and right pause (0–2.5 s) and deviation (0–±8°) are adjustable.
Q.What travel speed range does it have?
From 150 to 2000 mm/min, set on the digital controller.
Q.Will it fit my MIG torch?
The torch clamp takes torches from 16 to 50 mm diameter, with 60 mm of up/down and forward/backward adjustment and ±45° working angle adjustment.
Q.Does it stop by itself at the end of the weld?
Yes. An inductive stop switch stops the carriage at the end of the weld path.
Q.Which welding positions and jobs is it for?
Fillet, vertical, horizontal and multi-position welding on stiffened plates, ribbed plates, tank fillets and steel beams — in shipbuilding, bridges and petrochemical fabrication.
Q.What power does it need?
The carriage runs on 220/230 V, 50/60 Hz and draws 17 W. It is IP54 rated against dust and water.
Q.How do I get the Dynex 5M price and delivery time?
Request a quote on this page or message +91 88008 82983 on WhatsApp with your joint type, plate thickness and welding process. You will receive a GST quotation with delivery time, usually the same working day.
