WeldOrbit 360 Automated Oscillation Carriage | Ultimate 3-in-1 Solution

WeldOrbit 360

Flange & circumferential welding · 3-in-1
Round the Pipe, Round the Flange — One Even Weave.

The CRUXWELD WeldOrbit 360 is a compact flange welding machine and oscillating carriage on magnetic four-wheel drive. A pendulum oscillator weaves the torch up to ±60 mm while the carriage travels round pipes, flanges, vessels and fittings at 50–750 mm/min. Fit a plasma or oxy-fuel torch and it cuts and bevels up to 45°.

Overview

Automated Welding Made for Circular Joints

Flange-to-pipe and girth joints are hard to weld well by hand: the welder has to keep moving round the joint, change body position and still hold the same weave. The WeldOrbit 360 does the travelling. Its magnetic wheel drive holds the carriage on the steel work while it drives round the joint, and the pendulum oscillator swings the torch across it at a set width, speed and dwell.

A low centre of gravity and a high-strength magnet keep it stable, and the compact body fits into tight spaces. All the settings sit on a remote control box, so the operator can adjust the weave without reaching over the arc.

On a circular joint the torch has to keep the same angle to the groove as the carriage goes round. The WeldOrbit 360 swings the torch from a pivot in a pendulum arc, driven by a DC 24 V swing motor with a stepper oscillating motor — a weave that suits corner joints such as flange-to-pipe welds.

✓Oscillation distance up to ±60 mm
✓Oscillation speed 0–120 mm/min
✓Dwell 0–2.5 s at the left and right of the weave
✓Working angle 0–45°; torch up/down adjustment 30 mm

All the Way Round — Top, Side and Underneath

Watch one lap of a flange-to-pipe weld. The magnetic wheels keep the carriage on the steel as it drives round the joint, through flat, vertical and overhead, while the pendulum oscillator weaves the torch across the groove. The bead closes the full circle without the welder moving round the pipe.

Question & Answers

FAQ

Flange Welding Machine — FAQs

What is the WeldOrbit 360 flange welding machine?
A compact automated oscillation carriage on magnetic four-wheel drive that carries the torch round circular joints — flanges, pipes, tubes, vessels and fittings — while a pendulum oscillator weaves it. The same flange welding machine also cuts with plasma or oxy-fuel.
How does pendulum oscillation help on flange joints?
The torch swings in an arc from a pivot, up to ±60 mm, with 0–2.5 s dwell at each side. This pendulum weave suits corner joints such as flange-to-pipe welds.
What welding and cutting speeds does it have?
Welding speed is 50–750 mm/min and cutting speed is 50–1150 mm/min.
Can it bevel as well as cut?
Yes. With an oxy-fuel torch the cut and bevel angle is adjustable up to 45°. A plasma torch can also be used for cutting.
How does it stay on the pipe?
It uses magnetic wheel drive on all four wheels, with a low centre of gravity and a high-strength magnet for stability on steel.
Which weave patterns does it have?
Five, chosen with the Mode button on the control box: straight line (no weave), trapezoid, triangle, square and fine zigzag. A lamp shows the active pattern.
How are the settings adjusted?
From a remote control box: weave mode, swing speed, swing amplitude, left and right stop time, travel speed, start and stop.
What is supplied with the WeldOrbit 360?
The carriage, oscillator, remote control, cable holder, power supply with 2.5 m cord, 0.5 m torch signal cable, 20 m connection cable for the welding machine, two 3 A fuses and an Allen key set.
How do I get the WeldOrbit 360 price and delivery time?
Request a quote on this page or message +91 88008 82983 on WhatsApp with your pipe or flange size, joint type and process. You will receive a GST quotation with delivery time, usually the same working day.
Send your pipe / flange size and joint — we will suggest the set-up and quote today.
