The CRUXWELD TIG 500P (CTW-TIG500P) is a 500 amp TIG welding machine with pulse, built for a 415 V three-phase supply. TIG output runs from 10 A to 500 A and stick output from 40 A to 500 A, which gives one machine the range for thin stainless sheet at the low end and thick plate or heavy electrode work at the top.
The pulse frequency (0.5–10 Hz) is set low on purpose. At these rates the weld pool grows and shrinks with each pulse, which helps the welder control penetration on root runs, out-of-position joints and heat-sensitive stainless steel. Gas post-flow is adjustable from 0.1 to 20 seconds, so the tungsten and the end of the weld stay shielded after a high-current pass.
