The CRUXWELD WING1800P is a portable profile cutting machine. A magnetic tracing roller follows your steel template and the torch repeats that path on the plate. Cut 4–150 mm plate with oxy-fuel, use the included plasma torch head for stainless steel, aluminium and thin sheet up to 35 mm, and run it all from a single-phase 220 V socket.

A profile cutting machine takes the guesswork out of freehand torch work. Flanges, gussets, base plates, brackets and blanks come off the WING1800P the same shape and size every time, because a motor moves the torch and a steel template guides it.

Ø 20–1800 mm
Circles, straight cuts up to 1650 mm, and any profile in between.
Gas + Plasma
Oxy-fuel for 4–150 mm mild steel; the included plasma torch head for SS, aluminium and thin sheet, up to 35 mm.
220 V
AC 220 V ±10%, 50/60 Hz. Runs from a workshop socket; no three-phase line needed.
Portable
Four-foot base with levelling screws. Set it down beside the job and start cutting.
One machine, one arm, the same templates. Change the torch, not the machine.
See what happens inside the cut
Tap a mode. The torch stays still and the plate moves, so you can watch the kerf form.

Cut a steel template of the part. Up to a 700 mm circle, it goes on the template holder; larger shapes, up to 1800 mm, on the centre shaft.
Level the base with the four foot screws, fit the balance bar, and bring the magnetic roller onto the template edge.
Set torch height on the rack and pinion, then turn the speed knob to suit the plate thickness.
Light up, switch FWD or REV, and the torch follows the template. Lift, move to the next blank and run again.
Try the controls
One switch and one knob run the whole machine. Tap to see what they do.
FWD: the roller tracks the template one way round. OFF: the drive stops and the torch holds its place. REV: the same template, traced the other way round. Slow, towards 50 mm/min, for thick plate.Medium speed, set to suit the plate.Fast, up to 750 mm/min, for thin plate.
Real cutting on the shop floor, with gas and with plasma.
Full demo: template, setup and cutting.
How to fit the torch head and cut with plasma.
The machine set up beside the job, cutting from a pattern.
A shape cut from plate with the gas torch.
Watch the magnetic roller follow a complex template while the torch cuts the same shape in the plate.
The torch moves at a set speed along a fixed path, so straight lines stay straight and circles stay round, within 1.5 mm.
A steady machine cut typically needs far less dressing than a freehand cut, so parts move to fit-up sooner.
Gas for thick mild steel, plasma for stainless steel, aluminium and thin sheet, on the same arm and the same templates.
Keep the template and the next batch comes out like the last one. A new operator gets the same result on day one.

Templates within a 30–700 mm circle sit on the adjustable template holder; shapes from 700 to 1800 mm mount on the centre shaft.
A Ø10 mm magnetic roller holds the steel template edge and tracks it clockwise or anti-clockwise.
SCR control and a rotary knob set any speed from 50 to 750 mm/min; a FWD–OFF–REV toggle starts, stops and reverses.
A DC 110 V, 24 W motor holds the set speed, so the cut stays even from the first corner to the last.
The cutter moves vertically on a rack and pinion — on the gas torch and on the plasma torch head.
Copper distributor with three valves for preheat and cutting oxygen, and hoses routed neatly along the arm.
Four adjustable foot screws keep the base level and steady on an uneven floor or plate.
A rear counterweight on the balance bar keeps the long arm balanced for smooth tracing.

The magnetic roller follows the steel template.

Circle cutting with the sample circle plate.

Indicator lamp, FWD–OFF–REV switch and 0–10 speed knob.
Make the template once and cut the same part again and again, from thin sheet to 150 mm plate.

Example parts. Edge finish depends on plate, gas, nozzle and speed.
