30 mm Quality Cuts on Shop Air. Hand Torch Today, CNC Table Tomorrow.

The CRUXWELD FINELINE 120 is a 120 A inverter air plasma cutting machine for mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. It cuts cleanly from 0.3 mm to 30 mm, pierces 30 mm and severs up to 35 mm, with HF pilot-arc starting, digital control, 2T/4T torch modes, gas-test and adjustable post-flow — and a CNC interface so the same power source drives a cutting table. 415 V three-phase, 15 kW, 54 kg on wheels.

Overview

Overview

Air Plasma Cutting Machine for 30 mm Steel, Stainless and Aluminium

An air plasma cutting machine turns ordinary compressed air into a 20,000 °C plasma jet that melts and blows metal out of the kerf. No oxygen, no acetylene, no pre-heat — and it cuts stainless steel and aluminium that a gas torch cannot. The FINELINE 120 does this at up to 120 A with an IGBT inverter, so the arc is stable from 20 A on thin sheet to full current on 30 mm plate.

It is built for the fabricator who cuts by hand today and wants to automate later: the CNC interface, pilot-arc start and 2T/4T modes make it equally at home on a bench, under a portable CNC plasma cutter or on a gantry table. Digital control, gas-test and an adjustable post-flow protect the torch and keep consumable cost down.

Cutting thickness guide

What the FINELINE 120 Cuts, and How Clean

Cut type Thickness What to expect
Quality cutting 0.3 – 30 mm Production cut: square edge, minimal dross, little or no finishing.
Perforating (piercing) 30 mm Start a cut from the middle of the plate — essential for CNC nesting.
Maximum cutting 35 mm Severance cut: separates the plate; edge needs finishing.

Thickness ratings on an air plasma cutting machine depend on current, travel speed and air quality. With 120 A and dry, filtered air at 4.5–5.5 bar the FINELINE 120 holds the figures above on mild steel; stainless and aluminium cut slightly thinner at the same quality. Set the air plasma cutting machine’s current with the front-panel dial from 20 to 120 A so thin sheet is not blown away and thick plate gets full power.

✓Cutting current 20–120 A, digital control
✓Air consumption 15 l/min at 4.5–5.5 bar
✓Noise level below 72 dB
Controls

Everything the Operator Needs on One Panel

Digital control panel of the FINELINE 120 air plasma cutting machine – 2T/4T, gas test, cutting current

Digital display, 2T/4T, gas test and cutting-current dial.

2T / 4T torch modes

2T for short cuts and tacks: press to cut, release to stop. 4T for long cuts: one press starts, one press stops — no finger fatigue on a 3 m plate.

Gas test

Purge and check air flow and pressure before striking the arc, so the first cut is a good one.

Post-flow / gas time delay

Adjustable after-flow cools the torch and consumables after every cut, extending electrode and nozzle life.

Digital current display

Cutting current is set on the dial and read on the display, so settings repeat exactly from job to job.

Question & Answers

FAQ

Air Plasma Cutting Machine — Frequently Asked Questions

?What is an air plasma cutting machine?
A plasma cutter that uses ordinary compressed air as the plasma and shielding gas. An electric arc ionises the air into a plasma jet that melts and blows the metal out of the cut. The FINELINE 120 does this at up to 120 A on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
?How thick can the FINELINE 120 cut?
Quality cuts from 0.3 mm to 30 mm, piercing to 30 mm and a maximum severance cut of 35 mm on mild steel with dry air at 4.5–5.5 bar.
?What compressor do I need for this air plasma cutting machine?
Any compressor that delivers 15 l/min of dry air at 4.5–5.5 bar continuously. Fit a dryer or water separator in the line — moisture is the main cause of short consumable life.
?Can I use this air plasma cutting machine on a CNC table?
Yes. It has a CNC interface and HF pilot-arc starting, so it works with portable CNC plasma cutters and gantry tables as well as the hand torch.
?What do 2T and 4T mean?
2T: hold the trigger to cut, release to stop — for short cuts. 4T: press once to start and once to stop — for long cuts without holding the trigger.
?What power supply does it need?
415 V ±15%, three-phase, 50/60 Hz; rated input 15 kW / 25.6 A with 3 × 20 A fuse protection.
?Does it cut stainless steel and aluminium?
Yes — plasma cuts any conductive metal, which is the main advantage of an air plasma cutting machine over oxy-fuel. Stainless and aluminium cut slightly thinner than mild steel at the same quality.
?How do I get the price and delivery time?
Request a quote on this page or message +91 88008 82983 on WhatsApp with the material, thickness and whether you cut by hand or on a CNC table. You will receive a GST quotation with delivery time, usually the same working day.
Tell us your material and thickness — we will confirm the right plasma cutter and send a quotation today.
