Plasma cutting – An insight

The plasma cutting machine manufacturer in India for best of machine available for the supply in industries across India and for the international market. The industries with plasma cutting machine manufacturer are few in India and we are the with Government approval NSIC plasma cutting machine manufacturer in India.
Basic Concept of Plasma Cutting Technology:
We commonly think of matter having three states a solid, a liquid and a gas.  The matter changes from one state to another through the introduction of the energy such as heat as water changes from water to ice and steam. Now if the heat increases again the gases that make up the steam will become ionized and electrically conductive become plasma. The transition to plasma state is a consequence to ionization process and dissociation process due to higher energy level the electron in atom structure cross to higher level. A plasma cutter uses this electrically conductive gases to transfer energy from a power supply to any conductive material resulting in a clean, fast cutting process than with the Oxy-fuel.
The cost-effectiveness of plasma cutting:  Due to modern plasma technology with precise concentrated jet, it is possible to significantly reduce energy consumption. The cutting of alloyed steel and aluminum alloy of medium and high thickness need this system of cutting only. The simple cutting of sheet metal nothing is more efficient than shears. The contour cut needs Laser as a tool of choice. The investment with Laser is huge thus not making a commoner’s choice instead the Plasma serve the purpose with confidence. With regard to contour accuracy, flame cut parts are at a significant disadvantage compared to laser cut parts. Plasma cutting, on the other hand, has none of the disadvantages of flame cut and in contrast to laser cut, produces less of a thermal load. Further, the plasma cut parts are comparable in every respect to laser cut parts, including flexibility, precision, contour accuracy, and the quality of cut edges and surfaces.
Plasma Cutting then and Now: The plasma cutting in recent years has undergone rapid development with an enormous improvement in quality. The latest is HiFocus and HiFocuss technologies where secondary gas rotates around the plasma arc, bundles the cutting jet using the multistage nozzle. These development leads on to make these processes suitable for the industrial use where laser cutting gained a serious challenger in the form of plasma cutting.
Plasma Cutting to lower production cost: The electrode life is major recurring cost which can be controlled by quality, user’s technique and maintenance of the electrode. The copper body of the electrode remains shiny even at the end of the life of electrode .the change of the color may be due to wrong gases and wrong usage. The life and wear of the nozzle can be more difficult to assess compared to the electrodes..The orifice should be perfectly round for the efficacy.
